Hello I have printed all the parts apart from the top as it will not work in cura the top of it is missing when sliced. Apart from this the pinion connection to the motor is a bit too tight. All the rest ok.

Do you have the files for it all if so please may I have them as am looking to fix the issues.

Do you also have the arduino code for it all as i have started on the coding but wondering if you have some.

By the way I am an experienced CAD user and Coder so I can really help with this project if you could lend me the files.

I think those plastic tyres will slip on floors that require mopping. Why not use wider wheels with rubber bands as tyres? If you position the battery over the wheels, you can increase the weight on the drive wheels and achieve better friction. If the friction of the mop is greater than the wheels.. well the wheels will spin.

The plan was to print the tires with TPU. Given the material's rubbery characteristics I'm hoping it will be sufficient. The coefficient of friction of TPU is less affected by wet surfaces than vulcanized rubber, thus I feel it may be the best material.

That is a good idea about moving the battery over the tires to slightly shift the CG backwards. I haven't yet prototyped the model but was hoping to tackle that then (as I haven't yet determined where to mount the cleaning fluid reservoir). I will definitely consider this.

I'm about to start a new job in the coming weeks, so once the transition calms down, I will pick this project back up and hopefully complete it so that it is no longer listed as a work in progress. I do appreciate your input. Thanks

where you get the stepper motor? what model are these?can you help to modifier mop_pad_pinion.stl to fix standard stepper motor with shaft only 1 side, slot?

I havent had a chance to come back to this project yet as I am currently working on some others.. I should be able to come back to this in the upcoming week or two. when I do, it would be simple to change the pinion to fit a standard stepper
