Very cool Kwad .. printed it with medium TPU and it's strong enough

Could u make holes for 20x20 Stack please..... wanna print your nice and sexy quad

What did you use to design? I see where you have a few possible weak points that I'd like to strengthen. Good design.

I absolutely love flying this frame. I’m using 1407 motors with mah’s 550/3s, 850/4s,and 1300/4s. I printed it in pla+. I kept breaking it easily so I reprinted the top in tpu and the bottom in pla+ w/100% infill. The tpu top is perfect but the bottom kept breaking. I tried thin tried to bake the pla in the oven to anneal it. This helped but in the end there are some weak points in the design that I think could be fixed with modification to the bottom plate. Increase bottom plate thickness by approximately 1mm then modify the support under the arms so that it continues across the center of the frame and add a bit of extra support where the arm meets the frame body. It always breaks in the same spots. Either along the bottom plate where the arm meets the body or the arm breaks right in front of the motor. For me the ideal solution would be to print the canopy in tpu and have a carbon plate cut for the bottom of the frame. Also close up the slots for the battery strap, it adds a weak point to the frame. I use rubber bands. And add a set of holes for a 20mm stack. I’ve been using my soldering iron to melt parts back together when they break to prolong the life of the frame.

The tpu I have is a sainsmart tpu. It says it’s 95a. I don’t think it will be stiff enough. I’m trying it anyway. The print has about an hour left. I will post my results here once it’s finished. Ok, so the tpu I have is to soft and flexible to use. I think I might try to print it in a nylon.

Nice! Why you didn't print the bottom also in tpu? I use 98A TPU in both parts.

Amazing frame, I printed the V1 and it flies very well! I wish to see (and print) the same design of this frame for drone of 5 inch size.

This looks cool, will all of my youbi parts fit this? It'd be nice to have a decent camera on the youbi too.

Actually, the youbi's vtx antenna is solid mounted on top of the FC, so it will be hard to mount an antenna to it, if you want to fit it in to this V2 version.
The V1 is designed around the youbi.

Very cool frame - what's the weight like?

Thanks! :) It's around 45-50 grams.
