the clip fails to hold it well

Maybe I collect something wrong, but without a screw fastening my fan does not hold very well. I generally like all your assembly. Maybe you have a link to the fan holder with a screw fastening. Or give the STL file his holder so that I can be able to remind it myself.

strange, I wonder if they have slightly changed the heatsink, have you used the clip on the bowden tube to block the duct?
anyway in the past I've used this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2160958 but I think u can check any remixes , should fit without problem

hi, the main concept of this mount is not to use that holes, in order to remove it easily, there are already many duct that connect with the standard holes. so I'm a bit confused

just had a quick question was going to swap out to the micro swiss all metal hotend will this fit on it?

2 shells 40-50% infill will work, there is not much volume to infill

I mounted the double 5015 blower and tried to install this duct on my Micro Swiss hot end and it doesn't quite fit since it's square at the top rather than being oval all the way down like the OEM heatsink. Whenever you get some free time I would very much like to see a modified version for a Micro Swiss hot end. Was hoping to not make and use a petsfang as your design looks much nicer. Great work on the design & cheers!

one last question to reduce the tries on making one, do u maybe have a caliper to givev me the dimensions of the heatsink?

Hi RaffoSan, sure, I took some measurements yesterday while everything was apart though it was a bit late and forgot to get the angle of the bevel. Width is 20.00mm, depth is 12.00mm, height of the square area is 8.25mm. Bevel looks to be 45 degrees, I can get an exact measurement of the front face width if that'll help. The bevel is only in the front, the back edge is all square down the height of the heat sink.

added the file microswissBeta , I have few doubts on how it will stay on the heatsink, I think u have to turn the fitting clip behind not sure, let me know any problem and I'll try what I can

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet with feedback; thanks for taking the time to make it. I've been dealing with layer-shift issues on my Ender 3. I'm hoping to print it out in the next couple of days.

May I check with you on how do I use the retaining clips? I printed all files along with the double blower duct so was wondering how to mount them all together, thanks in advance!

hi, so first u have to screw and level the hotend to the printer, after that u have just to insert the duct(fanrev2) from the top of the heatsink, will slide without problems, last part is to insert the clip, making it slide from one side, on the pushfitting to make it stable and also block better the ptfetube :)

Hmm, it feels that there is a lot of air movement on the wrong end of the fan, nothing seems to come out between the coldend fins.

And yes, i tripple checked flow direction.

Or maybe the duct should be more open on the back, to allow flow since those fans don't have barometric pressure.

the duct cant be more open on the back cose it self locks on the heatsink, also making it more open is useless cose the main problem is that the hotend is just 4-5mm distance from the x metal carriage.
anyway so far after about 200hrs printing petg at 250C I hadnt problems on exstrusion, i think u should use another cooling duct there are many that self screw with the carriage.
i have a good air flow :/
