First off, let me please ask that if you like these designs and find them useful please do like, follow and share my content. And if you have any ideas or concepts to modify the content I would love to hear!
I designed these camera mounts for a robotics project and they were quite successful. I hope others find them useful as well.
The mounts hinges are secured using a M3 fastener (I used socket head cap screws and nuts) and the camera is secured using M2 nuts and bolts. For the M2 bolts and nuts I advise using nylon or composite materials.
This is a small part that has been designed to print with mini [touching build plate] supports for the Mount Type 2 - Part 1. The other pieces do not need to be printed with any kind of support.
When slicing the parts, be sure to acknowledge how much infill is necessary to have this part nice and solid. Bearing in mind a 100% infill value is not necessary for this. 50% is where I found it to work well in Cura slicing software.
