CURA 4.0 can't slice this for a 0.4mm nozzle. The walls are too thin so it results is nothing at all.

in cura 4.0 the walls are too thin for a single wall and when print thin wall are enabled it trues to print in zigzag, could you provide a 0.4-0.5 mm thick wall version ?

My first print of this (sliced in Cura 3.2.1) printed a nice smooth curved wall. Every print since as been a jagged curve. I have no idea what setting changed to cause this. Could someone help? I'm running Cura 3.3.1 currently.

I just printed one but can't really figure out if it printed right, or how to interpret! If anyone can help I'd appreciate it!

Fast Temperature Tower

Just a heads up, the gcode is not compatible with the CR10 mini. The XAxis is shorter and the head will hit the frame at the end of the print. Other than that, it does the job.

what speed is it set at?

Hmm, i have a CR-10s and the display shows the temperature changes but there is no difference between the stages. The whole tower looks good. Shouldn't there be differences to be seen? I used the gcode from the download. Filament is Janbex Black PLA.

Some filament works good at all temps

HI. I would just like to confirm I understand correctly.
If I have a CR-10 then I can enter that gcode provided in the download directly without any changes?
If you have a different printer you have to set up in slicer yourself?
Does this sound correct?

Yes that is correct

Thanks! I'm going to print it out later today. As this is my first temp tower i just want to confirm one more thing.
The tempertures from the bottom will be:
There are 8 sections. 225 then 220 then 215 and so on..... until it reaches 190 (which will be at the top of the tower)
Does this sound correct?
Thanks

Its low at the bottom and hot at the top

Could someone help me configure the gcode for slicer for my Prusa MK3. Thanks in advance.

Nice, reliable and fast test: AMAZING!!!
GOOOD JOB... REALLY.

For some reason, Simplify3D slices this as a single layer. Only the base appears in the preview.

This does the same thing when I try to use Cura 3.2.1. Anyone know which setting I need to change? I tried selecting "Print Thin Walls" but it still only prints the base and then quits.

In S3D 4, on the Advanced tab, Thin Wall Behavior section, Internal Thin Wall Type needs to be set to Allow single extrusion walls. That fixed it.

I got Simplify 3D and this is the 1st print I have tried it with, had the same problem and was going crazy trying to figure out why it only showed and printed the 1st layer. You saved me a trip to a mental institution. Thanks mate!

That didnt work for me, i had to change the External thin wall type to "Allow single extrusion walls".. :-)
Internal thin wall did nothing.. :-)

I have it on all the time i forgot about that :)
