This is a really great design I wish I was able to get a PVA chip from somewhere.

If you use a 3rd party slicer, you can use any chip you want. >>> http://3dcreatorhub.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26

Then there is also the ReCube project for reprogramming your chips. >>> http://www.haxtom.com

Hello. I took the risk of trying to print your design in my Robo3d R1 plus. It works. I used abs and the tolerances were a match. The only dimension that was off, was the nest for the chip. The job you did was genius and you gave new life to the Cube 3. I tested it and it works. Thank you for an amazing and really functional job. I will post pictures later.

Hello. Is there any chance you can help me with something? I downloaded the zip files to load filament, but when I try to open them in the cube app they show as “bad file”. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you.

You can't open them in the Cube app. They can only be used from USB flash drive.

Thank you. I will tray them tonight after installing the right hand side. By the way I just bought a brand new in sealed box cube 3 that I will need to change the firmware and do the mod for filament. Do you have any advise on version and method Inshould look for to do it?
Thank you.

There's tons of advice in the forum. You should get an account and ask questions there. Most questions will already be answered.

Thank you for your reply. I did, but I never got a confirmation of activation, so I can’t post or see pictures.

What brand of filament you recommend to use with the cube 3 ?

The ones I have tried my print outs came out with a lot of artifacts. But when I switch to their filament, I get it properly. I guess is a temperature issue.

Thank you.

You're welcome, and thank you!
Did you check out all the other stuff for the Cube 3 that other people have contributed to as well?
