Very nice work :)

I want to build one for myself, but i am not sure wich type of display would fit. On ebay i find 0.36"(~9cm) and 0.56"(~14cm) types, wich one you used?

The digits are 0.56'' tall. The display itself is about 2 cm x 5 cm. I think you get the centimeter conversions wrong...

Thanks for your reply. I see, the conversion went wrong... Im not used to this stoneage Units (Feet,ellbow,thumbs...) ^^

The Arduino could be powered by its default wire instead of the 7-12V wire, right?

If you mean power it from the 5V pin or the USB connector, yes, you can. But only with 5 volts.

Thank you for your quick reply.

Yes, I mean to supply it with 5V, since the device doesn't need more than that, right?

Sorry, it should have been a blank-space there. DS3232 is the name of the IC, and it is a RTC (Real Time Clock) -module. There are many modules based on this IC if you search eBay for example. Link: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=Real+time+clock+module&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_osacat=0&_odkw=DS3232

Cant find DS3232RCT. Any link?

Thanks
