Hello everyone
Everything is printed, but I can't find those potentiomèters,
Who have a source, a référence, a WEB link ?
There is not enough accuracy, view or pictures on the third potentiomèter, do you have more things?
Anyway it's a very good job, thanks to you.
Henri

Ok I understand you have potentiometers already. My be if you give me the exact dimensions I can change the key parts to it.

I have contacted the supplier that I got them from. Unfortunately they didn’t have these pot meters anymore. It’s from a batch they bought from China and they can’t order them again. At this time I don’t know where to get these :-(

AH AH (Shit/Merde) very bad thing,
It's a shame because everything is printed.
I knew these small potentiometers existed but not obsolete,
the most common have no flattened axis but a crenellated one, it will be difficult to adapt and also the diameters are often larger.
I keep reading your if you find a source of supply and I'm looking from my side too
Thank you for your interest and your work,
Your sincerely
Henri

awesome job! this inspired me to make a joystick for my pc with an adjustable spring/cam system. what ratio are u using to translate the axis movement to the potmeter?

Nice to hear you got inspired by this idea :-)

I used 3 to 1. I chose this because then (in my case) it is not possible for the pot's to reach their ends. They stops just before the end (in both directions) and therefor it is not possible to break the pot by pushing the stick to far :-). Corrections in the code are necessary (you will never get 0 or 255) If you do want to be able to reach the end of the pot’s, I recommend 4 to 1.

Great! thanks! will keep u posted!

Figured since i'm almost done with the mechanics of it all, it may be cool to give u an update. if ur interested i can share the files directly with u, but im not putting it on thingiverse just yet, not until im done with the stick itself and all the little inaccuracies are out.

Looks impressive on the PNG. Yes email your creator files than I can see things better :-)

Nice design. I am printing it now. Any chance you can upload the STL file for the square bracket/holder please?
Many thanks.

Cool you like it. :-)
I’m sorry that I forgot the mounting plate…
I’m at work now and the files are on another computer.
I will post the STL in about 9 hours form now.

I have included the mounting plate now.
Happy printing and a naice day! :-)

Thankyou. I have printed most of it. I have the bearings on order and have sourced a 25mm D Shaft 16mm pot for the handle. (15mm D Shaft 16mm seem OK for the X and Y pots). I still need to do a lot of sanding to get things to fit.

I hope you will get it all to fit.
I wish you succes :-)
