Pro tip: rotate this model 8 degrees around the x axis to make it lie flat.

Nice design. It's very stable with my big note 8 on it. Well done. Print took 6.5 hours for me on a robo 3d plus

Hi there,

I'm very glad you like it and it looks awesome in Black!

Thank you very much for taking the time to share this.

Would you be willing to make an updated version with bigger phone grip? I added a case to my phone and it's thicker and the phone won't stay on the stand now. The lower brackets are 9mm currently, and I need 19mm for this phone.

I'll try to get around it over the weekend.

Thanks so much! You're awesome. Btw, I glued some rubber drawer longer to the bottom of the one I made. Helped keep it planted. Lol.

Pics or it didn't happen...

Here is the pic with the drawer liner glued on.

Lol. I'll snap some after work.

My note 8 without the case was the only phone in the house that fit the stand. I'd suggest offering it in a couple versions that way if folks have a case it'll still work. Or the arms that hold the phone could be adjustable and use a screw or something to hold them in place and print it as 3 parts.

Interesting thought on the adjustable approach!

I'll see what can be done.

I have lots of good ideas, but I don't know how to design. Lol. I was picturing the outer part of the arm sliding over the inner. It would have a slot in the bottom of the outer, and a 3mm screw hole in the inner. Then you could 3mmx6 or 8mm screw to hold it in position. This would allow you some options for adjusting. My case is huge because it's got any extra battery so I would think 20mm wide arms to hols phone would be the biggest you'd need to go. And then down from there.

"Vision without execution is hallucination" ;)

XL version is now available.

This is my old phone, a galaxy s5 with 8000mah battery. It fits tightly. My note 8 with 5500mah battery case fits perfect!

Ok cool. I will print one out and see how it works

I made some mockups for the weekend - stay tuned!

poor lighting, but the note 8 is perfect fit.

Thanks for sharing!
