Got this "thing" for a 5w laser I bought from gearbest, the "Alfawise 5500mw Blue Laser Engraving Machine DIY Module with Goggles - Black 5500mw" the mount has a 40mm on center hole setup but this laser is 1.5 inches on center, which is 38.1mm. So I scaled the piece that attaches to the laser down from 50mm to 48.1mm and it fit perfectly, and actually fits a little more snug in the V.

Awesome, have fun with the laser! pew pew ;)

The pet store still refuses to sell me sharks.. :(

Awesome part and design, thanks a lot mate

Great idea, do you have BL touch mount as well?

Hey Mate, what command do you use to turn the laser on and off on the software?

Does this not collide with the x axis endstop? would it not be better on the right side of the hotend?

Hi, it will not collide. I build it around the endstop plate. You can see a on top view in the pictures.

I have a Eleksmaker laser 2.5W module. It's work with 12V and PWM. Do you think it's possible connect it to CR-10 mainboard??

Hi, you can connect it to the second regulated 12V Fan output to the 12V Port of the module but it only turns on and off on a certain PWM Level.
If you want real power control you need a 5V PWM control signal and the 12V power connection.
I am working an a connection board with a 5V PWM signal to have full control.

Laser and ABL Connection Board for CR-10 and other 3D Printer

I'm using it and it's great, thank you!

Thanks for using it. :) Have fun!

hey, what offset settings you use in marlin for the sensor?

is that pcb for the laser custom? or part of it? my laser has a barrel connector.

I didn’t measure the offset yet.

The PCB on top of the Laser Module ist module specific. It uses two connectors for power and PWM Controlvoltage.

When you have only one barrel connector you can use it to connect it to the part fan directly. Power control via M106 0-255 in the gcode.

Follow some tutorials on the internet.

thanks for the reply :), i've hooked up the barrel laser to aux fan heh..

thanks though :D gonna print this out and try it out instead of the magnets.

Have fun and take and upload a "I made one Pic". :)

That idea is so good, can't understand, why not everone is using it.
It's very sturdy, on the left side and easy to replace and accurate!!
thank you a lot.
you got maybe a different file type, like ipt, stp fusion 360 ? i'm not used to stl editing.

I send you an PM. Its a fusion360 Project.
