Make these to support 15mm rods please

Can these be flipped to raise the bed higher?

no, they were not designed to be flipped around. and even if you would do so, it would raise the rods for only about 4mm.

Does this help remove the bounce of the bed? I'm using 6mm glass for my bed.
Thanks

bounce? there should be no movement on the rods even with the standard mounts, when everything is fastenend accordingly.

any backlash introduced on the Y axis should normally come from the connection between the carriage and the heatbed. so in most cases the cause for this issue are the bed springs which are not tightened enough.

They are already compressed as far as i dare tighten them.
I'm going to try the solution below.

Cool! So I can ditch the acrylic plates by using those, right?

yes, that's exactly the idea.

i should mention however that i don't have the original rods anymore which were 400mm. instead i have 415mm rods.
the 400mm rods will fit. but like on the original brackets, they only go in by a couple of mm.

so i added holders which are extended by 5mm so even the 400mm fit nicely.

Excellent! Thank you for this!
