Hi Florian, could you reupload the fusion files please? (or upload them elsewhere?)
The online viewer always says the model's empty.
Would help a lot.

Hi PetraBaum,
thank you for your message!
I fixed the online version and added the f3d file here. Have much fun. Tell me if you make a derivative and I will link to it in the description.

Thanks a lot! I'll tell you if I upload my version.

Hi Florian, Is it possible to have the lid without the text or with 'Air pollution sensor' instead?

Here you go, a lid without text, since I have some problems adding the text at the moment: https://www.thingiverse.com/download:6655606

wow. the lid really does not fit whatsoever :D

I printed one. I found that the components have very little space and I had a hard time cramming it into there. I wish that the PCBs would not stack but be place besided each other. That would also require less height. Otherwise it is a cool design. Will post my multicolor-print later.

Thank you for creating this design. I opened the model in Fusion360 and the lid looks broken to me. It seems that the inner seam that fits into the case is incomplete. Is this a mistake in the current version or am I doing something wrong?

Hi printerlet,

in my actual version the lid seems to be okay. Try to download this version: https://a360.co/2qSJR3t

This one looks good, thanks! I noticed that the actual lid.stl file looked ok, too, but I couldn't figure out a way to print it with the embedded text and logo. Printing it right side up required adding support and twice the time compared to printing it upside down, but upside down I couldn't get the small inner parts of the letters to stick to the bed. I ended up removing the letters and logo using the F360 mesh editor and it came out fine. I'm curious, what orientation did you print it in?

I printed it with the text facing down and support turned off. The printer then has to bridge the text and logo but that worked okay for me. Its may not be perfect but it looks great from further away. (The image shows the view from below the print bed.)

Thanks, that's what I tried, too. I sliced it with Cura and the little inner parts of the letters just wouldn't stick to the bed. Well, now I know I need to improve my bed leveling. :)

Attention! This doesn't fit with the current (March 2018) ESP8266v3 model available at aliexpress! I've just made a remix for this, but'll need some more days for printing and testing before I'll upload the result...

The case fits the NodeMcu V3 boards with a PCB size of 58 x 31 mm and hole distances of 52 x 25 mm.

Yeah, as shown on all your photos.. ;) But they're now selling a newer (or older? Don't actually know..) version of this, which is a little bit smaller, but still called "v3" - pretty confusing... ;) It's 44 x 20.5mm hole distance, now.. (And 25.5 x 49 mm PCB size..)
That's the one, I bought a month ago: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/F-r-WeMos-D1-USB-NodeMcu-Lua-V3-CH340G-CH340-ESP8266-Wireless-Internet-Development-Board-F/32846458833.html
It also has a slightly different pin-out, so you'll have to use "VIN" and "GND" for powering the SDS011, again.. (as opposed to "VU" and "G" as written in the documentation)...
As promised: I'll upload a remix as soon as I've printed it once and checked, everything is in place, now...

There it is: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2843927
Complete with photos explaining the problem....

Thank you! I added a link to your remix in the description.

Awesome, thanks! :)
