Could you please upload Engine_01 left & right without the custom supports? Some parts of the print tore off when removing them.

Sure, it will be best that when slice it and repair it too, last time i checked it model has sevral open hole and error points.

as i will like relased files to open sorce with working 3ds max file.

Sorry sir, i have no idea where is my prebuilt supports for the frigate. and i thought more larger scales thus make prebuilt supports useless as gap distanse between parts and supports get more than 0.2mm. the work file it seemd one parts first but was already parted for print.

I am having troubles printing the file 'Front_01.STL'. In Ultimaker's Cura, the model has no infill and there are small holes in the shell of the model. I tried to fix it in Meshmixer, but I am not very skilled with these programs. How did you print your model?


i had check the model and i find it was mess of meshs as those here and there opened. i fix and cap those opend meshs but be sure check it again in Meshmixer which i didn't have it now. i replaced files to fixed ones but 'All' still not fixed. view it as preview.

i am really sorry that i published this unpolished model and Thank you for point it out.

The model is great, but the stand is not on the center of balance for the model and it cants back because of how back heavy the design is. The center seems to be more at the front corner of the lower deck.

i apology for late reply. the model is still have many of error point that i learn when i process into mod game model with texure.
for about postion of stand point, i suppose where your said point is lower deck empty turret emplacement next to vental main loading door in refer image i think. i am not sure stand at that point will enogh to counter front mass...

Is this set missing part models? I only see one engine side, and there seems to be something missing between this engine side and the engine shrouds.

i was assumed you will use Mirror function of your Slicer...

Engine_01 is attached to Spine and parts of Engine_02 is fill holes back side of part.

Okay, I see my mistake. The grill like structures on the back of the engine are supports, as there are on the side panels on the Engine_01 model (which I also missed). The engine shrouds (Engine_02) in your completed pictures above are recessed into the Engine_01 part, but the model shows a flat surface(again, due to the included support structures). When I center flat to this face in my slicer, I can see the holes they would fit into.

And for the mirroring, I am using the slicer Pango that came with my Trinus, and it does not mirror. The support forums say to use a second slicing program to mirror, so I'll figure it out.

For ther mirroring, i see there is problem. so i will upload other side of the engine for you.

And as i see what printer Trinus is pretty good printer but it has 120x125x125 mm work space.
as i said in summary, it designed for 150X150X150 mm work space and it probably it can't not down sizing either because there is already so tiny turret parts and the bridge parts even in original scale.
Still, only Front part is over 125mm as it is 148mm hight. maybe you will have to slice off it's part as two but i can not recommand it either.;

i put space beteween assembled parts 0.1mm and put space between enigne part and manual support 0.2mm in 3ds max.

I will download any cool model I like, even if it doesn't necessarily fit my Trinus as-is, in the hopes that I can either scale it properly, find a means to slice it into multiple parts, or eventually get a larger print capacity printer. The Trinus is my first printer, and I'm still learning the ins and outs.
