I've been using this for a couple of weeks and i like it. One problem is that it's to close to the nozzle. I would like to get the f3d file so i can make an edit so the "ring" is not that close to the nozzle (in height).

I'm also interested in the f3d file for this. I'd like to modify it to fit with the setup with the piezo precision orion that I use.

Is it possible to get the design file ? want to change something that the cooling ring goes all the way around. Or could you do that and upload here ?

Its a really great design. I just printed it, but its not tough sticking in the fan hole. So it would be great if it could be screwable like the original one.

And what about compatibility with the inductive sensor?

OrionBG. I might do that. But i dont use an inductive sensor.. i dont know the size of it or if its easier to make the mount for the sensor a bit longer... what do you think?

By the way I printed the fan duct vertically (as it is on most of the pictures here.
It printed OK, but I had issues with the top layers of the left and the right part of the ducts (the two horns :) )
Can you maybe add some support below them (inside the ducts) ( maybe do it a little like an arch) so that the top layers be printed more easily?

It should be printed like this. Standing upp just like in use. is there anyway you can post a picture. I don't really get what you mean by "the two horns". Try printing it with a different layer-height if its possible. (0.15mm or 0.25 mm) I tried it on both of my printers. (wanhao i3 and my hypercube i had zero problems with 0.2 mm layerhight.

The two red arrows point the layers I'm trying to explain. My printer d issues bridging those horizontals. The first top layer was almost half missing, the second one filled some of the holes and the third one filled everything. The ready part looks OK on the outside but on the inside I'm afraid the air will have some obstacles to go through...

OrionBG you might be printing too slow... it can also be a problem with the extrusion or just not a very good type of filament. I use Primaselect or any other premium PLA most of the time. Its really good at bridging. I have had problems with cheap PLA and pet-g on other models so i use some more expensive filament most of the time....

If i use 0.2 mm layer height i get 5 layers on top.
I think you get 3 layers if you go at 0.3 mm layer height. that might help...

these are my settings. I am using Simplify 3d.

If the sensor mount is made longer, it will at some point begin to hit the Y motor mount...

It should probably work OK with it...
