I'm really new to 3d printing do I need support for wings and the face ?

looking at printing this full scale and biggest thing I'm seeing in under side of the stairs is all overhangs making the supports needed hard to remove :/ just a note you are free to dismiss it but having the under side smoothed out and not stepped with remove the need for the support under the sitars.

The stairs should print fine on a ok calibrated printer without support. I may fix something there later if you are having trouble with it, but I don't see why it should be a problem.

So main issue i was running into was that automatic support setting where filling under all the stairs when i only wanted support for the wings etc. smoothing the underside would mean cura wouldn't attempt to support it

Enable support on build plate only. This will prevent support from being generated inside the model.

I can smooth it, but would it be better to print it withouth head and wing and the glue them on or something? If not I will try changing it when i got time.

This is fantastic! I can't wait to finish getting my printer working again so that I can print it.
If I rotate this 45 degrees and scale to 95%, I can print this. If the gate was printed closed (I wouldn't need to open it), I could go full scale.
95% should work just fine.

I really want to have this done by the Extra Life event - fundraiser for children's hospitals for D&D.
Bring the A game.

Sorry for being late (and maybe to late for your event), but I have added a version with closed gate. I hope you like it even though it may be way to late.

This is cool. Can You post a one-piece model, better yet one with just the wings and head separate?

I would love one of these scaled to 28mm or 12" total height without gate at bottom of stairs of course so dice can exit

So ... you left the porcullis at the bottom of the full scale model. Any chance you can fix that? I can print it and support it, but if the dice can't exit it's not useful!

uploaded one without it now :)

Would love to see the split version if you created one!

Yeah I forgot to upload that one. Will do it now :)

That'll fit on my bed at full scale...will see what I can do.

Looks amazing!
What a statement piece it would be on a gaming table.
Well done.
