Along the same vein as my Napoleonic board game tokens.
- Ranged Unit / Skirmisher
- Siege Engine
I've also added a few other tokens
- Fortification / Castle
I've tried to give them a more classic "wooden" look / feel, as well as making sure to use simple shapes for ease of printing. Support may be necessary in some instances but I've made carefully sure to design them so that a very minimum amount of support is required to print them - often times just small snips should be enough, akin to trimming a sprue.
I'd be interested to see how these come out when printed with something like Woodfill (http://colorfabb.com/woodfill.html) or Laywoo-D3 (http://reprap.org/wiki/Laywoo-D3), or even Laybrick for a kind of sandstone/ceramic feel (http://reprap.org/wiki/Laybrick).. may have to try it in a few months.
Horse model used was a resized "block horse" by cheddarz and can be found here:
For best results, print with support and trim support as necessary.
