This is great, it's something I noticed right away after setting up the printer. Thanks!

Printed as well for the new Mega S and works pretty fine just make sure that you press the metal frame a bit together that the arms are not breaking

Very great! I've printed it with my Anycubic i3 Mega and it's fits perfect, and works as aspected. Many Thanks!

quick question - what is this used for (how should i know if i should put one of these on my i3?) thanks

It clips into the top of the gantry, inside the L-section, and because it is at a 45% angle it prevents the bowden tube from getting wedged under the gantry as the Z raises. Taller prints will often suffer this, and as the ptfe bowden tube is compressed into the square shape of the gantry extrusion will be reduced, usually to the point of a failed print.
It's also a really handy LED mount, as you can usually just toss a light in on top.

great - will print one!

hi, made one of these today.

not sure if its an error or not but on the flat side there was a strip along one of the long edge about 1cm wide that was not filled fully.

fits on the gantry perfectly.

ignore that, the print was fractionally not level when i put it into cura :-(

Really? I thought I'd levelled it. The original was in some weird display-centric orientation, and all I did to fix that was rotate it by (very zoomed in) eye, so my fix may not have been 100% accurate, but I wouldn't expect a slicer to have picked up such a minuscule angular discrepancy.
