Did you try them out ? Wonder how they are working out in reality.

I've added pictures of printed bearings in my Hypercube Evo for you to see them embedded in reality :)

I print them in POM on a UM3. POM is very hard and has perfect sliding properties. Yes I'm using them, currently I'm building a Hypercube Evo with these bearings on X and Y. Z axis bearings are not really necessary to be made from POM, my biggest reason for using these is reducing the bearing noise of the shafts that are used the most and fastest, the Z direction is slow.

I have never tried to print in POM - is it difficult ? Do you think it would also work in PLA or PETG ?

Try igus i150 filament. Its the best in terms of friction and can be printed easily even without a heated bed.
Also, Taulman Nylon 230 is very durable and very low friction and can be printed easily.

POM is very difficult to print, it does not stick easy to the plate, needs to be printed at high temperatures, and hardens and crimps very fast. You could try PLA.
