Hi! Could you please add a version with a push fit adaptor?¿ Like in the Airtripper one https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:126778
Cheers and thank you for your work! :)

Airtripper Bowden Extruder BSP Edition

Kudos on this design. The more I look at it, the more I realize how feature packed it is. Excellent work, and your rendering is very well done too.

I'm working on a remix that uses an MK7 equivalent drive gear with an 8mm ID so that I can cut out the need for a lathe. Would you mind sharing the bill of materials? Specifically, I'm wondering about the hardware. I see that you are using M3, M4, and M5 socket head cap screws. What lengths and quantities of each do you need? Also, what length of spring do you recommend?

Very nice design, you made - i like it!
I had left some Mk8 drive gears left, so i made this version. An Mk 7 Robotruder will follow one way. Here are the parts i used:
3x DIN 912 M3x8 or M3x10
2x DIN 912 M3x16
1x DIN 912 M3x25
1x DIN 912 M4x12
1x DIN 912 M6x12
1x radial bearing DIN 625 type 626 (d=6, D=19, t=6)
pressure spring, d= 8mm, 14 mm length

Can you post STEP or native CAD data too?

STEP file uploaded! :)

I don't see it?

yesterday it was there , hmm... i uploaded it once again.

Thank you!
Yes, my stepper had also an 8mm shaft, so I disassembled the gearbox and machined the shaft on a lathe to 5mm. Not a big deal.
The pressure depends on the spring, so if it's not enough you can increase it by pressing the spring with the screw.

Interesting design!

Is the pressure on filament made by the spring, or by the screw+nut?

Where did you find a planetary-geared NEMA17 with a 5mm shaft? All the ones I've seen have 8mm shafts (6mm for the NEMA14 version).

If you are still interested in this type of design for planetary-geared Nema 17 motors with 8mm shafts, I have just remixed the Robotruder to do just that.

I'm also interested!
