Awesome design and would love to see if you ever get a 12 volt version working. What kept me from building your design is the need to charge and also be tethered to an electrical outlet at the same time. I wouldn't have an issue being plugged into the wall, but would be awesome if the geared motor could be powered from the mains instead of the lithium battery. I understand that may make the case a little larger, as getting a converter from 110/220 down to 6 volts or so would make for a larger circuit board.

Either case, just my 2 cents. You are still an amazing designer and I have followed you to see what other cool things you think up :)

P.S. your Single Central Magnet Motor Actuator Generator is also an amazing concept!

Hi, Patrick,
Thanks for the feedback.
I do not plan to make a glue gun with a battery.
I recommend you look at another version of the glue gun with a 7 mm glue stick. It is really very convenient to use. The new version is here:

Thank you!

GlueDart 7. Case design.

That is awesome, thanks for sharing :)

Interesting Concept ;)
I like it, I'll give it a try somewhere in the future and show resutls ;)
I'm kinda concerned about materials to use with this one though

Thank you.
Do not worry about the materials. The hot part of the heater lies on two points of the housing. The case heating is minimal.
