I love the video and the model! Thanks for sharing your work!

So exciting news, I was at a dinner last night and met some of the crew that work on the show, including the mind and hands behind the creation of Pickle rick. I will be printing a model of this for him and he is very excited to get it.

That IS exciting. I hope your print turns out well.

Great model and video! How long did this project take? Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you. It took about three hours over the course of five days. Whenever I had the free time to work on it.

Man love your video! <3

Anyone have their S3D supports saved. I cant seem to get his arms to stay on. Thanks

i dont know if its the model or simp3D, but there is never a support printed for the right hand. nice wo.rk on the model. thank you

This is definitely the best model ive seen. Is there any way you could make just the rat armor so we could put an actual pickle in it?

I have already done that. It's available on another website. Search for Articulated pickle Rick.

You're a genius! Thank you! I will upload a picture after i print it.

Thx for the awesome model, I'm working on making a model for the Prusa Multi Material Kit, would it be possible to get an obj or fbx of your model with the material assignments?

This was part of my original plan. I may get around to it some time.

Or a model where everything isn't merged together? Thanks

You did a really good job on the modelling, the pickle rick episode is probably my favourite.

Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it.

The video of your modeling process is incredible. Really nice work.

Thank you. I'm glad you like it.

Have you thought about doing a articulate version with the pickle part included?

We'll see.

I had meant a fully 3D printed version with the pickle

You made an awesome work in there, but in the articulated version, how do we add the pickle? Isn't there one already made to fit in there? Thank you

I was asked if I could make the suit in a Mr. Potatohead style to add a real pickle. They were planning on doing a stop motion with it. I still might rework it with the pickle.

Oh nice! That's an interesting idea, and I would appreciate if you rework it wtih the pickle, but just do it whenever you can

Pickle Riiiiick!.. was thinking of doing this one myself.. then a friend pointed it out on thingiverse thank you!

You can still model it. It's very good practice.

Failed quite a few times on me at the thin metal part on his leg until I got frustrated enough to thicken it myself. Uploaded the file if anyone else is having the same issue https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2489622

Remix of: Pickle Rick (Pickle-Mouse cyborg)

I was afraid of that. But after everyone was having so many successful prints, I guessed it wasn't a problem. I'm glad you liked the model and was determined to get it printed.

When I throw it into simplify3d it starts to bridge the foot so I would recommend moving it down about 0.1mm to avoid that.

You're my hero for making this.

Would it be possible to remix this so the pickle is removeable?

I've already received a request for a "Mr. Potatohead" style, to attach the parts to a real pickle that I'm working on.

Awesome!!!!! I'll have to wait for that one :)

Im Printing this first chance I get

Sounds great. I can hardly wait to see the result.

super cool, Its's Pickle Rick!!!

Sick work.
I just started playing with blender. Really cool video, and awesome model.
