An improved way to line up, level up and clamp the Y-Axis belt to the H-Frame. Two identical parts pair up allowing you to secure and tension the Y-Axis belt to the H-Frame. 4 each button head 4mm x 25mm Lg screws and two each 4mm x 8 Lg set screws are needed for this adaptation. The belts get pre-assembled to each block and then secured to the H-Frame. The set screw in the upper block is preset to a position approx 1-1.5 mm below flush face where the belt rests to secure that belt. When the blocks are tightened up against the bottom of the H-Frame, that set screw will bit into the belt securing it from slipping. The set screw in the lower block is tightened after pulling on the loose end and tensioning the belt. NOTE, the channels that the belts go through should be printed without supports and may require some clearing depending on how cleanly your printer prints. See attached JPG files for proper belt installation. For orientation, the right side of the assembly drawing and image views is the stepper motor side. Note the Cura image for printing orientation.
Requires tapping M4, of setscrew holes.
Recommend using rubbing alcohol or soapy water when tapping the holes to prevent galling.
