Hi. Also interested in knowing how did you powered up the fan... Can you share, please? Thanks!

How effective was the smell reduction?

Printer is sitting 50cm from me on my desk with the VAT full. No odor at all unless I lift the cover.

Do you power the fan by the printer or separate power source?

Hi thanks for this! It's helped me get rid of most fumes at this point though I'm quite sure the current exhaust on the Wanhao self still produces some smells because it's airflow goes outwards aswel... Did you on the other hand had any issues with light coming through the printed hood? I've had some weird behavious of hardend resin pools in my vat even when the print was just 3x3x8 or something and right now I can only think of a little bit of light leaking through the (in my case) red top from your models (not complaining about the model just that it's the only changed factor a this point)... what's your experience/take on this?

How did you end up powering the fan?

I don't have any issue with light bleeding (mine is black obviously) so I can't help you on that point!

Hello, Thank you for your such great diy!
I have a question, Can Charcoal get rid of Resin's Smell? or any reason for that?
Im using Resin Clear Wanhao.

I'm not sure that standard charcoal would work. But I'm pretty sure you can find the kitchen exhaust filter with ACTIVATED charcoal everywhere in the world :)
