It is fantastic very good and fine detailed I love it

Has anybody solved the face support issue?

After 9 hrs of printing overnight, the body was fine but the face was OFF lol.

You could try rotating it to 90 degrees, the face comes perfect but the other side of horse doesn't come as smooth. So print it by laying it down, not standing

So what I did eventually; I dipped the whole body except the head in the minus zero, basically I printed the head only on a separate file, then glowed it to the body of the old print after I removed and sanded the old bad head :) it looked perfect.

Thank you for posting. Court you please share a pic of how you printed these two pieces or share the files for both. Thanks in advance

For some reason it never generated the supports for the face and my face fell

Has anyone solved the face issue? Are you generating support? I printed in Suntech's Carbon Fiber PLA and everything else came out beautifully with a pretty shine - the face looked like something out of a horror movie when the support failed LOL. Great design.

Surely there's a clever 3d modeller out there who can set the ears correctly?

Made a remix with ears changed. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3373466

Even if I sort of agree with you on the ears being wrong, it is not entirely wrong. Horses do on occasions, when they are vary of sound from behind, twist their ears back.
I don't think the horse's stand indicates curiosity or variness towards the back, so I changed if for my self. And shared it with you guys.

The ears look backwards, however, one can sort of play off that the horse has it's ears kind of pinned back :P
I'm wondering if this was a model done from scratch or a sculpture that has been scanned? If scanned then the ear error is not due to the model creation lol.

I wonder if the creator noticed the horses ears are backwards?

Why are the ears backwards? Can you fix this?

I had an issue where the support for the nose failed and caused the lower face to mess up

Me too 3 times. The rest of the horse prints beautifully minus his face lol.

great looking horse but you need to scale it up. it is like 5mm big total lol. super mini horses for fleas to ride maybe they would let the cats and dogs alone lol. but really if you would make it like 100mm would be good or some size we can print. thanks for sharing.

I think we can do max the size to over 150mm height in slice software.
anyway as you want, I just upload a new one height is 150mm

thanks it helped alot its maxed on my slicer but prints well. do you add support to yours? i did it broke away well turned out nice. made mine a black stallion.
