Terrific model, and thanks for making it available. One small problem: I printed the one without a base, and it doesn't balance. When I try to stand it up, it falls over backwards.

Nice, but it would be nice to add fixed version(s) of the model, because my slicer (Slic3r Prusa Edition) is not able to process current one :).

Any extra info you can give would be helpful. It works in multiple other slicers, so wondering if it is a poly count thing, a wall thickness thing etc. Haven't used Slic3r in quite a while myself.

This reminds me of my youngest. I'll get her to make this face and snap a photo...Wonderful work as usual, bendansie!

Wow, excellent model Ben! When the Creator Pro is free I'll definitely be trying this one!

Well done, you do great work bendanise!
I got that expression from my niece many times.... she is 14 now, oh dear... poor Mum & Dad have their work cut out ;)

Thanks! This sculpt isn't based on anyone specific I know, but I've certainly seen it before plenty of times as well. :)

Love the expression you've captured in this :D another great piece of art!

If I haven't said before your quite skilled and a fantastic sculptor. Was this done in Zbrush?

Thanks! Sculpt in Zbrush, a little tweaking and render from Blender

How long have you been using Zbrush?

I've owned and enjoyed Zbrush for quite a while, but haven't as much call for it at the day job as I'd like. (To be fair though, I'd like to use it constantly.) So it's mostly been pushing myself in side projects over the last three years or so. Been doing 3D professionally since 2009.

I want to get more character oriented so I just started with Zbrush Core so i'm in the hate stage because in my mind I know what I want to do but, I don't know were all the tools are and how too use them. I look forward to seeing the next model.

Hopefully Zbrush Core still has this ability, but customizing the UI was one of the most useful things I did in terms of making Zbrush work for me instead of the other way around. I put Dam_Standard, TrimDynamic and ClayBuildup brushes along with the ClayPolish, clear mask and invert mask buttons up in the top toolbar and removed a bunch of buttons I never use. Personally, ClayBuildup feels like the most natural brush.

Secondly, watching videos like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSDsKT3xDQg where you can see an artist like Josh Herman sculpt in real time. Mostly from a practical point of view, seeing how long they stay in the lower poly stage, how often they use dynamesh to make the topology more even early on, etc. Basic workflow tips. If you search for "Zbrush Summit" there are tons of free videos now that have great artists just openly doing their thing and talking about it.

That video was very cool thanks.
