Hi, what is the orientation to print the nut and main base, so that the screw threads can be properly printed? I ended up with a mess...

Anyone else having problems printing the nut? Seems to layer shift half way through. Printed it a dozen times and the same thing each time.

Typically layer shift if a mechanical issue, unless you can find it in the STL.

its really odd. I'm printing several parts together and every time the nut seems to shift half way through at the exact same spot each time. The other parts come out fine. The stl looks fine to me. I must have printed 6 different nuts either on their own or together and they all seem to shift. I'll see if I can see it in the gcode.

Gcode seems solid. Perhaps my machine is having a hard time processing the code and overheating. I'll reduce the infill and see what happens. All the other parts print great, many thanks.

the stl file is good and no damage area i think its in your printer settings try 20% to 30% infill and also if your printing that one in abs you need a stable environment for your heat bed .

entirely my error. printed the nut at 20% speed, slow but it came out fine. So i'm thinking heat on the MB was the problem. Can't wait for my Cube to be completed to try it out. My i3 is in need of an upgrade.
