Awesome! I am converting a Prusa clone to Haribo and ran into this issue last night. Was working on modifying the files when I searched and found this! Time saver! Consider updating the file to use the motor mount with the tensioning screw that was added with the latest revision of printed parts for the mk3? Again thanks for sharing!

Maybe, but don't expect it. I'm doing small updates on my printer, so it might happen, but I don't have much time nowadays for this.

Dimensions are perfect! The brass nuts I have were threaded so I drilled out two opposing holes with a 1/8" drill bit, they secured to the printed parts very nicely.

Hi

Does the 22mm brass leadscrew nut fit the 8mm rods ?

It seems a bit exxessive...

What needed modifying of the original parts ?

Thanks a lot!

I don't understand the question. The brass nut is for the leadscrew, the 8mm rods are the smooth rods. Also, you can see it on the picture how it looks assembled.

I've only modified the inner and outer radius for the nut.

Hi bbandi,

Sorry for the confusion i meant leadscrew but did not know the proper word.

I find it odd that you had to adjust the hole for the new brass nut as it looks like that it would just fit. However looks can be deceiving...

I orderd some myself and will test :-)

I've corrected both the inner and outer diameter for the nut. The one I'm using with was for a motor with 300mm integrated leadscrew, ordered from aliexpress.

Hi

I made this based on Ismael and your design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2546852

Prusa i3 MK2s X Axis Brass Leadscrew Nuts Idler/Belt Tensioner

hi you could slightly enlarge the holes for stainless steel rods pls ?

I'd like to keep it close to the original, which has this size. You have the source if you want to modify it.
