For anyone wondering, it's indeed possible

Looks like fun! Which orientation prints better?

Thank you for this thing! Thumbs up to you!

Where's the video for the solution? All I get is an error message saying it's unavailable.

Impossible for me to read the lenght of the string on the ruler.

Saw this puzzle years ago, couldn't resist printing this for my son..... it's now quiet time short of the frustrated mumbles coming from his room.

how long does the string have to be?

doesn't the Japanese one also have two movable balls?

I do not think this puzzle does.

nice puzzle :)
size is working fine for me, its about 7,5cm high.

looks like it was not scaled correctly, when opening stl, the model is almost microscopic could be due to the fact that sae units were used in design sometimes slicers have issues with them since most are in mm. Also, the puzzle stand is above the ring instead of being next to it. You beat me to the punch by designing this one free hand, I wanted to find the actual wooden one, before I'd created one in 3D.

Thank you for pointing it out. I do all of my work in inches and my settings for exporting to .stl file were set to inches.
I updated my settings to mm and created two new files. One for printing standing-up and one for printing laying down.
I hope that this works better.
Thank you
