This is awesome !!! well done - out of interest what tool do you use to design the dimples so they form the pattern around the files

Hi Grant,

thanks a lot. Its a free Plugin for Cinema 4D called Dual Graph. See the design process here: https://youtu.be/_uYAzpiqTCU

did you already print on other fabrics?

2 jears ago i tested how to print on paper en some fabrics. I will add some pictures on i made one.

Hi Maarten,

So far I have used Organza and net-like fabrics, but my goal is to test more types of fabric. For net-like fabrics the process I showed in the video works perfectly, for other fabrics I guess it depends on how well the filament can crawl into small cavities or how well heat-bonding works.

Maybe I should also run some tests with spray on fabric glue.

there is very thin pla sheet. We pressed that in the fabric. We also let the nozzle run in the fabric the first layer and not above. so you push it in the fabric. You will need to clamp down the fabric very good. I think its a good development printing on / in fabric.

I will follow the progress you make.

Sounds interesting! Maybe we can use the thread inside the "Sew easy" group to keep everyone updated on our progress.
