ive printed it 3 times, none works, doesnt make a sound

i am printing this right now! im using this to test a ocarina before i buy a expensive 20$ one!

what a great design. though just a remix. there is a fault in the lip though. it is not straight in the blowing hole. meaning that the sound isnt perfect. but it works. but only half the lip is making sound. could you fix it please?

Truly great this brings it all back, sooo many memories.
After i printed this out i went and brought a real one.
Now trying to learn all those Zelda songs again ;<)

even when i select put on platform the model is still reading like its not on the platform im using a flash forge dreamer by the way

AWESOME!! I have a question. do you have to move the triforce onto the ocarina or is it already there?

It's already on there. I just included it in case anyone wanted to position it differently.

Plays sounds, but only if you just barely breath into it, lol

It probably isn't completely airtight if that is the case. Try printing it hotter or using some silicone to seal it and you should be able to get sound out of it when blowing at a pretty good rate.

It's an infill problem. I've since printed five more with 100% infill and they sound just fine. Thanks.

an interesting remix of the playable ocarina, however it wont play for me. kinda disappointing since my ocarina from seggybop played perfectly

This is the same model as seggy bop's. Did you maybe use a different plastic or print at a different temperature?

how dose this play when made can one of you show a video on youtube of you playing it

how would you apply the silicone and the glue

Rub it around on the inside of both halves to create an airtight seal before you glue the two halves together.

Great work!
Could you pleeeeeease upload a full version (not 2 halves) like http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:397565/#files this one here also? i think it will play better if you dont have to worry about seams etc.

Ocarina - whole and metric

I would like this too, for use with a Form 2

What kind of printer do you have that you can print all that overhang without a bunch of support material ending up inside of it?

So long as you keep the Angles of your overhang under 45 degrees you can print perfectly without support material.

Very impressed at how well it plays, the silicone to glue it was a great idea.

Skeinforge puked hard on the back peice. I imported it into Tinkercad and then saved it back out and am now printing it..

Do you take tips in doge coin?

Sure, I didn't know anyone would want to use doge:
