Fits exactly on my Anet A8, thank you very much

This print works on my Anet A8 and worked just fine.

I printed this and installed. For some reason the entire printer is racked in a weird way. When I clamp down the front section where the brace is the back section is like 1/4" off the bench. Not sure what went wrong but and ideas what to check? Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for sharing your job, works very well and nice fitting.

Chris

also mein drucker wird davon vorne angehoben und steht damit nicht mehr sehr stabil

I am curious if the Anet A8 frame front design has changed. You are the second person to note that the brace lifts your frame up.

For some reason this STL is gapping my lines. The PLA in the printer right now just printed the previous prints with no issue. I was even messing with the flow rate and it still does not fix it.

Thanks for letting me know. It appears that the file had some reversed faces. I have fixed this and uploaded a new STL.

This was a 6 hour print that I wasted almost a 10th of my filament on. When installed, if it is not screwed into a base, which, like most braces, I figured was optional, the front end of the brace lifts up, unleveling the printer. It does look great. If I had a stable base to secure the printer to instead of my desk, this would probably be a great a piece.

are you using the newer anet a8 version from late 2017? just wondering

I have the same problem! My printer was purchased in October of 2017 but its really really off. See comment above.

This looks awesome thanks for this, can I ask what infill % and layer height was used? Many thanks appreciate your work

It fits perfect and makes the frame more stable - I like it! Thanks for sharing.

why is this part needed, sir?

Because to the y-belt tension, the acrylic frame tends to bend inward over time. This brace helps that from happening as well as reduce vibration by being able to secure it to a surface.

those are strong arguments :)
I wonder if it this part will fit my A8-Print bed but anyway, it is now on my Must-Make-list, THX!

Turn it at an angle in your slicing software, then it should fit the bed. That is how I printed mine.

Hi,
Is it fit into P802 MA ? If not do u have cad file or could you change it ?

Thank you
