Just a quick and dirty lamp for the usb light module I found in combination
with an other thing here. Please disregard the poor quality of the pictures.
For the electronics a google search for "led usb touch dimmable" should do the trick.
These gizmos are quite cheap, less than 2 bucks each.
The light certainly is inspired by thing:1646315 (thank you for the initial idea)
but a complete new (quick and dirty) construction.
Print base and shade with the open side on top.
Manual supports only in each corner at least for me (S3D) prooved to be enough.
Solder a USB cable to the module, leds up and facing the connectors, black cable left, red one right. At the back of the module remove the paint with fine sandpaper and solder a wire onto it.
Connect the wire with a narrow strip (folding the foil, soldering will not work) of tinfoil just so that it fits to the inside walls of the base. Glue the strip to the inside of the base.
Thus the light could be remotely controled just by touching the lamps base.
After that glue the support into the base and than the module on top.
