Can someone please give me advice on the settings to use to slice this in Cura? My print came out looking like sh!t. Terrible quality. I know it is not the STL, but my settings. I am a noob ... :-)

Can anyone confirm if supports are required to build this? Thank you in advance

Yes. Supports are needed.

the design is wonderful very like

Ooooh. It appears their may be some issues with the STL. I will take a look at it.

EDIT: Yes, there was some internal faces, etc. Fixed and re-uploaded. Thanks for pointing this out.

Need a remix to go elsewhere as this would probably crash in the lack table as the height is limited. I'm sure I can find another spot for it as is though thanks.

Yes nice design thanks!

Very nice design. I took your design and remixed it using Fusion 360 to add a space to store some extra SD cards on top. The extension cable is a tight fit, but it does fit with a little persuasion. I have uploaded the STL file for it and of course, gave you credit for the original design. Thanks for the inspiration.

I took a look at the mod. Good idea and it looks great.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm glad you like it.

Im in the process of printing this. You will need supports all the way around unless you have an awsome printer that can print in mid air. That I would like to see lol

Did you need supports? Just touching the build plate, or everywhere?

I believe I was able to print this without supports... I don't remember.

I like this design however I've heard conflicting reports on how the extension works. Some folks say you always have to plug/unplug the bit by the main board when taking out the card and mount/unmount on the printer. Is this the case?

The extender is plug and play. Just plug into your Micro SD slot and you should be good to go. I did not have to do anything extra.

Do you have a link to the extension cable? I really like your design.
