Great design, I'm definitely going to print this, although I suspect that this will collide with the uprights when homing. I've found this before with some x-carriages with stuff at the rear. I'm currently using one that has the 50mm blower fan mounted vertically. I may do a remix and post it

Does this work for E3d v6 yet?

Amazing job mate! any news perhaps on a version for E3D v6?

Hi mate! i'm mounting and testing it out! and it perfectly fit inside ;) (amazing job!)
but i guess that the v6 is shorter than the v5 so the wind blower is thiker and the nozzle, unfortunately, doesn't touch the bed.. so i guess you should reduce the thickness of the bottom part of about 3-4 mm or 5mm if possible...
i would help you out if i had some better skills in 3d shape..

très beau design merci

I would love to use this design but I'm not sure on what firmware and firmware settings that you use.
Any suggestions.

No particular configuration is used, just make sure you configure the firmware or "Multiplier" in Slic3r or "Flow" in Cura; so that the extruder pulls out the correct amount of filament ... When you tell it Extrude 100mm that 100mm of filament comes out of the Bowden.

A greeting.

Thank you I’ve printed and assembled it just had some issues with my knock off a E3D did not fit right with the Mount little heat helped though. I’ll post pics as soon as I get my new nozzles in right now have it disassembled

hi! nice design! I plan to rebuild my Anet A8 on Bowden extruder. Just look for the matching bracket and so .. This one is super! but would it be possible to integrate a chain holder for the cable chain?

Hola, Me alegro que le guste mi diseño.

Usted se refiere a hacer un soporte para enganchar este tipo de cadenas?

Todo depende del ancho de la cadena.

Hello, I'm glad you like my design.

You mean to make a bracket to hook these kind of chains?

It all depends on the width of the chain.

Stupid question. Will this work with E3D v6?

Hi, cabal2000.

Not yet, it is necessary to adapt the front part for the V6.

I hope to do so soon.

Be patient please, or if you prefer it is free to make the head compatible.

A greeting.

No todavía, es necesario adaptar la pieza frontal para el V6.

Espero hacerlo pronto.

Sea paciente por favor, o si lo prefiere es libre de hacer el cabezal compatible.

Un Saludo.

That's too bad. I have most everything for V6 and I truly have no idea how to edit the file to convert it from v5 to v6. Beautiful design brother.
Keep up the good work man.

I will try to do it as soon as possible, promised.

thanks brother!!

Updated yet by chance?

It seems to perform very well...my only complaint is that the 30mm fan used on "Cabezal_Plastico_Pieza_02_v1.0" is very noisy!
Is there a chance that you could modify this part to accept a more quiet 40mm fan, just with a simple recess maybe 10mm higher than the existing one, nothing fancy, just a 40mm fan hanging from two screws

Really nice design i will try to mount on my anet a8 and make a report about the height....
Do you planned to make other sensor mount for the capacitive one or inductive?

Thanks for comment. It can be done. Give me measurements or Inductive DataSheet.

Thank you.

Riwithiy seems to be right the fan and sensor cover hit the frame of the anet a8 when you use the max of Z axis. Here is the 2 diameters of the sensors there is 12mm and 18mm. Thx

T H A N K Y O U !!!! Great Work!!!
I'll test it and give you Response !

The Anet A8 has a 220 x 220 x 240 print area. I think that your design is not capable for
240 height. Because the cooling fan sitting in the way when going all the way up. Still design looks verry nice.

Hi, thanks for commenting.

If it is possible that you are absolutely right, this design I made for My P3Gold which is wider and higher and in it I do not lose margin of impression. As it pleased, on request adapt the distance between rods of the X axis to 54mm for Prusa i3, Steel and Amet A8 without knowing if it would affect the height among other things (I have no way of knowing it).

It would be a pleasure if someone tried the design and confirmed if it is useful for each of the printers who like to try it.

However, if it is by height, rarely does someone reach 100% of the maximum available distance, and can choose to use it knowingly if it is useful.

A hug.

nice looking design.
