One question:
Is it advisable to print the part in PLA?

Thanks for answer.

The part is kept cool by the fan - I see no problem in using PLA.

If the heat sink gets too hot to touch, I will suggest switching to ABS or PETG, but that will properly not be the case ;)

Excellent! Installing this makes the whole fan/heat-sink/extruder assembly fit together much better, reducing the noise from vibrating parts. Only thing I'd recommend is make the screw holes a tiny bit larger, so the screws just slide through instead of threading. Would make assembly of the whole extruder assembly much easier. Other than that - PERFECT!

Thank you for the feedback. I will change that in next update.

Thanks,I'd recommend supports if you are printing

Support may be needed, depending of the used filament. PETG prints without support.

PLA needs supports, distance is too big

I've been meaning to fit a set of spacers ever since I took the extruder apart to clean out a broken filament. Nice work.

oh my!! this is such a good idea, I didnt even think about this!

Solves an annoying issue when re-assembing the extruder block.

I had to remove some sagging bridges.

How did u mount the metalic block with the hot end on the x carriage? Changed the metalic mount?

Nevermind. My printer has a different extruder :)
