Hello,

First....thanks, these are great! And secondly, where did you get your rods? They look fantastic.

Iridium

Hi,

I made them myself. They're based on carbon rods and Traxxas 5347 ball joints glued with epoxy resin. I don't remember the exact process tbh - it's been a while. ;) A google search on 'delta rods carbon traxxas' will most probably bring up several instructions.

Check out https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2283468 for a helpful jig if you want to make your own.

Any chance to get a version for mgn12 rails on 1515 extrusion?

I just uploaded a version for 1515 extrusions due to your request. Couldn't make it sooner as I was on vacation when your message reached me. Let me know whether it works in case you print it.

sorry, I dont understand, when the rails are installed, do not the screws go into a tapered hole, like counter sunk screws,, to hold it in the CORRECT position, meaning they will automatically center?? I dont get it??

Haven't seen tapered holes on MGN rails so far. Even if they were tapered, how would this correctly align the rails to the V-slot extrusions? The t-slot nuts and the screws have smaller diameters than the corresponding spaces in the V-slot extrusions. No amount of tapering on the screw head's side will compensate for that.

Hi. Beginner here who's lost at the setup & calibration phases.

What exactly do these do (in layman's terms) and how do you use them?

Your linear rail screws to the support upright. These align the rail to make certain it is perfectly centered on the upright before you tighten it down. Great Job theInternal!

These worked great, I used them to verify the alignment of the rails on my printer. They fit the rails and 2020 tight, which is great because it means they should be more accurate.

I'm glad I have a second printer. My Kossel prints so bad I'm not sure it would fit :-|

Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for the STL!

Would it be possible to get a file that can work in Fusion 360? I would like to make a version that fits my printer.
