I would be terrified that it would break off in the headphone jack. Creative idea though!

Yes, I agree!! I tried to design and print it to minimize the possibility :-) The post is a smaller diameter than the headphone jack and the little "donut" things around it are what keep it in.

Which slicer do you use? I'm not sure but I think Cura (which I'm using atm) has no special options for the infill.

We use Simplify3d. Simplify3d defaults to one called "rectilinear" which tends to create brittle break-layers for small rod-type parts like this. The "full honeycomb" option doesn't seem to do that. I think Cura might default to honeycomb? I've only seen it used at the school though, so am not sure.
