This is exactly what my mini needed. i added a E3D hotend to my sad little mini in the corner and this excellent part and it's like new, out of the box again and back into churning out "things". I bought a cheap E3D clone on Amazon and this thing fits it like a glove. Looks like a stock part, and performs perfectly. I used PETG @100% fill and it just snapped on after mounting the fan with a couple of screws and away it went. Thanks for the mashup!

Looks interesting! What orientation do you use to print? Supports?

care to share pics of your china ED3? as well as your opinion on if the clone is worth it and maybe a link to the one you bought....? thank you!

This is what I replaced the stock mini head with. Although it came with heater and RTD, I just removed them and used the existing heater and RTD already wired into the mini. You could also use the existing fan, but I used the fan that came with the head because the one that came with the printer became noisy. I haven't had a single jam since replacing the head and filament swaps are painless.

Looks great, will love to try it out whenever I manage to upgrade to an E3D head
