Dieser "Wintermantel" für den Heizblock ist tadellos, nur wieso kann man die Dateien nicht mit Repetier Host öffnen und mit Slic3R bearbeiten bzw ausdrucken.?

Hello, I made a mold too. It works perfectly, but the silicone cover is longer than my heating block. Is this mold made for older heating blocks???

Do you have the hotend with a thermistor which looks like a cartridge? If no, than you have the old version, where the heating block is smaller.

No., I have the glas thermistor. OK than I have the older version. But the mold works very good. Thanks

Hi again. I made a mold and followed your instructions but can't remove the silicon part from the mold. Do you destroy the mold to take the part out or did you use some kind of lubricant to prevent the silicone from sticking to the mold?

No, you don't have to use lubricant or destroy the parts. Use a cutter or a sharp knife and put it carefully between top and base. Not too deep, otherwise you will cut into the mold. Then wobble the cutter, so that the mold becomes lose from the base. Do this an all four sides and you should gain your mold within seconds.

The two screws on the top which attach the inner part to the top should stay there, until everything is separated from the base.

Oh, OK. I'll try that. Thanks.

Did it work?

I haven't tried yet.

Nice job. Thanks for sharing. Can you provide the length of the bolts used?

Hi Mucaro,

length are

M2 x 8mm
M3 x 8mm
