This has got to be the most useful upgrade i've ever done! Good job!

Absolutely one of the quickest easiest upgrades I have done to my ANET A8, but by far the best! Fantastic design.

Don´t know why, but it works ;-)

I built my A8 3 weeks ago, after I tried reloading the filament once this was one of my first improvement prints...

I printed it flat instead of on-edge, and 100% fill with 1.5mm layers.

I did not modify the design, but I used a deburring bit to make a bit of a funnel, I think the wide mouth is easier to hit.
This works quite nicely!

Since i installed that thing in my A6 i never had trouble when changing filament again. Thanks for sharing!

Also fits the Anet A2 Bowden extruder. Using it now on flexible filament. Thanks MasterFX.

You're welcome. Always good to have some feedback!

If I print it in PLA, will it work ? or is it too hot at the part of the hot end ???

Good question. I never mesured the temperature on this part. I don't know how good the heatbreak makes its job. But maybe it is worth a try.

Doesnt get very hot there, unless you use a cabinet. Maybe 40 degrees (even if the fan is moved to over the motor).

Yeah you are right. Even after 10 minutes without fan it is well below 50°C.

Hello! Very good idea, will be used to print on flexible material?

I only tried with TPU (SemiFlex) and it works fine. I don't know if it is sufficient for TPE, but much more support isn't doable
