Thank you for the updates and everything. Will be using this model to make my custom pistons and everything for my car. Really appreciate your hard work!!

Interestingly, when I printed the head and the valve cover they were not the same scale. Anyone else have this issue?

Excellent thing! Thanks for sharing. I have a similar zetec engine in my car that has a few subtle differences. Would you be willing to share the 3D model files so that I may make a few changes to better match my engine? stp or solidworks (2013 or older) of the valve cover, head, and block if possible. Thanks so much!

I am in need of a solidworks model of this engine too! I tried to open it as solid body but some parts have too many faces, and as graphic body I cannot make an assembly on it.

Actually any 1.8 engine would serve.

If there's any news about this upload please answer me.

Thank you very much!!

Unfortunately some of the older models like this one where on a portable hard drive that died sometime last year so the original files are lost. If you want a working engine model I would go to GrabCAD or use try this one - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:644933

Toyota 4 Cylinder Engine 22RE, Complete working model

the block kinda maxing out my printer as of now i have 4 pistons, rods, and pod caps printed going for the crank now gunna have to wait till i can actually print the block till i get some more filament. how many grams of filament do you think the whole print takes

Just checked on the model. It says in total if it was solid ABS, it would be roughly 1515 grams. But obviously you would'nt print it solid. It could vary alot from about 600 upwards depending on how many shell layers and the density of infill you use.

Lilykill, can you make some matching valves, valve spring retainers, and lifters ? :)...

Ill see what I can do but Im currently flat out doing my titan model. So dont expect anything to soon.

I'm printing this right now. Would also love to have a RB26Dett Nissan engine in same detail.

Yes, This is a want.

thanks, I just tired looking for that engine model and unfortunatly I carnt find it. You might have to model it yourself.

what was your estimated time on the print of the block ? I just started the print but eta is 27 h 27 mins -_-

Ye that sounds about right. Mine was about 30ish.

Update to all - Scale has been changed to 0.33, all files have now been changed to the new scale and upload.

Currently using Solidworks, Ok if you have any problems or any additions then please feedback since i want to make this an easily printable object that anybody can attempt. When I get a chance ill put the assembly on as part file up so people can hide individual bodies out to see the assembly when fully constructed.

Incredible! Very ambitious project. I would love to model a 2JZ-GTE one day if I get a chance. Been many years since I was doing 3D modelling and design full time.

What program are you doing your modelling in?

Keep the pieces coming, I am going to give printing this a shot!
