I have tried to print the part with the hinged cover 3 times now. Twice with Cura, once with Simply3d commercial slicer.

Each time I used supports for the overhangs, and even with Simply3d, I turned the part on the side and used .06 resolution to try and get it to not fall apart.

I even uploaded it to Shapeways and their analyzer shows that the swinging door hinges were too close, and the connection between the bottom shell to the arm was less than .07 thickness. Which, in all 3 of my prints, it was too fragile and snapped off all 3 times.

Do I need to use ABS? Can I thicken the walls on my own somehow in Cura or another slicer?

The other two pieces worked perfectly (Clips and Print Head Guide). I just need the last piece to stay in once piece to finish it.

Please help.

Thank you.
