Guys, heads up the code is very well commented and easy to reverse engineer and extend on - so far I have managed to work out how to control the motor speeds to ensure it track straight in forward mode, activate the second push button and adjust the move algorithms from only turning right when using avoidance function to turning left or right depending on the sensors .

Great project not only for the printing but an introduction into the Ardunio and the code.

What Printer are you using? bed size etc? I hot glued mine together and so far has been just fine

I don't have the exact number now, but less than a kg.
You can use Cura to upload the model and it will give you an approximate material weight and distance.

Ouch yes, 3d printing is kind of expensive in some countries, but you can try to order from another country or buy a 3d printer, mine cost 699 dlls, half your quote. But yes, it would be much better if you have your own 3d printer.
