Wasted a whole bunch of filament printing this - the centre of the wheel prints but then the wheel falls off the print bed!

i printed the full medium wheel and its impossible to press L and R buttons while playing

How many shells do you print at? For the walls?

@j023, The large full wheel's outer ring starts ~1.125mm higher than the back of the joy-con holder, making it impossible to print without support, as far as I can tell. Let me know if you get a chance to fix that since those will work much better for me than the medium full ring. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. Isn't it kind of hard to hit L and R though? I think some wheels have those buttons on back.

Also, I'm not sure pursuing any legal action would be worth your time or money at this scale, but they are definitely in breach of your CC-Attribution license. You might also consider changing your license to something more strict like CC Non-commercial Share-alike.

I haven't tried calling it yet to see if it's legit, but there is a number you can call. It might be possible to troll heavily. All the way at the bottom: "Got Questions? Call us 24/7! [803] 998 1133". What a shameless ass hat.

he has a website too https://3DPyroPrints.com

we need to TAKE IT DOWN!!!! BUILD THAT TAKE WALL!!!!!!!

thank you all, I will try to understand what I can do, to take it down

how do you print this without supports?

the exterior starts at layer 6 in mid-air...

Thanks a lot for sharing this.

where exacly is the difference between the sizes?

Nice design! However, in my slicer I see a few problems that degrade the printing performance. I would love to offer a few suggestions to further improve the design :) First of all, I don't mind you putting a trademark on it, but when you place it where the printer has to make a bridge, it will cause problems with that bridge.

Secondly, for the Large version of the half-wheel, the flat part stops a bit short of the center, causing a strange gap.

Witch Wheel (small, medium, big) fits to my joy con?

They all look so happy

Could you share source or upload higher resolution (more polys along the wheel)?

Brilliant! I just printed this for a friend with a switch and it looks great.

Thank you :)

So interesting, can you upload some real photos? How dows the joycon hold? Have something special or joycon fit forcibly? Thank you!

Just uploaded it!
I still trying to make some ajustments :P
