Is there any chance you could do a smoother version?

Yes, I shall work on it.

I printed it out but it is too "poly" for my taste. For wall art it needs to be smoother and I'd rather not spend my time sanding off the lines. If you do a second version it would look better with the black fringe added.

Hi,
How exactly are you supposed to open this in photoshop? whenever I try to open it, it appears very small in photoshop, thanks

Open it in Adobe Acrobat or another PDF viewer which you can view letter sized PDFs at their correct size. Hope this helps.

This is amazing! I was looking at the parts and was wondering what did you use to attach the two pieces together?

My XYZ Davinci 1.0 is broken at the moment. I'm currently making the papercraft version that I uploaded.

I used:
A glue stick to adhere the pieces together.
6 layers of white glue to fortify it.
Floor Wood Filler to fill/level it
Smooth-on XTC to finish it.

If I was going to adhere the split 3D printed pieces, I would use an epoxy filler putty called Green Stuff. It can be sanded once cured, and then I would smooth the mask out with a coating or two of XTC.

Hope this helps!
