Awesome design!
How exactly did you design the 'hair'?
I use TinkerCAD and Meshmixer, and would love to learn how to do this.

Many Thanks,

Can you publish the hairy one as a single model instead of parts?

I think that would be impossible to print because the hair need to be printed horizontal

I see your point, especially in the arms.

isn't Sully, juste a basical yeti

Tempted to try this in TPU.

Can you try to make the hair finer? I mean wouldnt it be "hairier"?
I thought of putting the thinnes possible hair in the model and the slicer then sizes it up to the thickness of the layer?

I could probably scale up the model and create more hair. I tried to make them thinner, but they would not show up in the sliceingprogram. That was with i 0.4 nozzle with (i think) 0.1 layer height

I love this model but when I tried to print it the sacrificial wall that holds up the hair extended a few mm below the actual base of the model, causing the print to fail.

Did you print these with supports? I had to reslice the model 6mm below the build surface so that it would start printing on the layer that had the base of the model.

Some of the parts need support. But on some other parts. i.e the (Foot_Right) part, i drag it below the printbed (in the slicer program) so the foot touches the bed. I can upload the gx files if that will be any help for you :)

Was looking thru the files now. All the parts beside the feets needs support

Hi! Thanks for replying. I found that Slic3r has an option to chop the bottom off of an STL file so I am able to print these no problem now. Thanks for the great model!

Its awesome great work... I like the hair like that too...
