This is the v2 version of my external FDD enclosure for the ZX Spectrum +3 computers.
The two parts are redesigned to fit better. I have also made two designs of the top: one in one piece and the second one in two pieces. The purpose of dividing the top into two pieces is to facilitate the printing without the use of supports (although in this case the two parts must be joined using glue for plastics).
The rear includes two holes for 6mm diameter switches to select floppy drive unit A or B and to select the floppy side A or B. It also includes an 8mm diameter hole for the power connector of the floppy drive.
For the 34-pin cable, a gap of 1mm thick is formed at the rear when the two parts are closed (backside down) allowing the cable to go out without problems.
