Hi, is there a reason why you didn't go with the original "clamping" design? (Is it too loose on the Anet A8's acrylic frame?)
Did you experienced problems with that? If not, I would like to try a remix for the Anet A8 frame...

Hi, warum passt das ursprüngliche Design zum anklemmen nicht? Hast du da Erfahrungen gemacht? Sonst versuche ich mich an einem Remix von der urspünglichen Klemme für den Anet A8...

DanielBull designed that Cam Holder for the "Dibond" Mendel90 Printer. These Dibond sheets are much thinner, than the acrylic frame of the Anet A8. But you can try to remix this mount part to fit the acrylic sheet. This will also have the advantage to mount the cam in a different height.

Okay, I've done it in a couple of minutes: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2474665
Needs some paper or blutape for a tighter fit like the original. Nevertheless your's is faster to print (35 vs 50 minutes on my printer) and should be more safe against vibrations of the frame... I placed the camera similar to your cam, so no advantages besides more flexible placement later ;)

Raspberry Pi Camera Holder - Bracket for Anet A8 frame

I've added a link in the description. Thanks!

What camera board is that you have in there?
Doesn't look the same as mine?

In my case (^^), its the original pi cam rev1.3 with the lens and lens mount from the arduino cam module. As i tried to change the focus on the original lens, I scratched it accidently with my pliers. I was just about to throw the whole cam away, but I luckily had one of these arduino camera module laying around and did some google. There are several tutorial about these M12 hack for the raspberry pi cam. The image quality is much better with it and to focus is pretty easy with this hack. And you have the option to use any other M12 lens to change focal range.

Thank you by the way for your Mendel90 camera holder. I really like it!

Thats really cool, the focusing of the original Pi camera and the second version was one of its weak points :)
