Question because I am printing this where does blade 7 go? The reason why I ask is because it looks like can go in two different places and I don't want to have to print the wrong piece.

Hey. I was wondering if you could please post this item split in 2 long ways so I could cast this sword from molten metal. I understand it would mean it would have to be printed flat. Thank you in advance

Since with your elucidator I printed I had problems with the breaking joints I will wait to print those with ABS.
As I am really unlucky with those and to fill the gaps between the parts, and as I and most of the people have a bigger printer liike a cr-10s (300x300x400), I would really like a version with less parts to fit the 400mm height.
I also will tell you I thought that printing the joints horizontally on the plate would help with its strenght because the material fibers would be more linear, so I tried it and it was how I thought, printing them flat on the plane (as opposed as you have to print all the sword parts) makes them a lot stronger.
Thanks for your design!

loved it, to a total of 41 hours printing and as soon as i assemble and paint ill post a make!

i'm curious, why the separate alignment pins rather than a central void running from the hilt right the way through the blade? would allow for a carbon fibre tube or fiberglass bar as a central core. Other than that, its a beautiful model which i plan on printing soon.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I do this with all my models. It allow the user to 3d print all required components. There is a model of Asuna's rapier from Ordinal Scale that has the option of using a 3mm rod, but this modification was made after the fact as a suggestion due to strength reasons.

Awesome stuff by the way ur very good at making swords
.

Hey I'd really like to see a guilty thorn.

This is a great design! Though I'd have to with xenonzx135 request for a more rounded grip. Looking at reference photos. The grip looks more rounded.

This looks so cool! Thx for sharing.
Is there any chance you´re going to make the Augma too?

Thanks for the complements, glad you like it. I have gotten a couple requests to design the headset. I'll be giving it a try probably next week. Keep an eye out for it.

Cool thing, I´ll do just that.^^

The Augma design is up. Not my usual content, but I hope you like it.

any chance you could upload a full size model so people can cut it themselves?

Just printed the tip and the 3 out of the 9 alignment pins.
The pins do not enter the hole.. what can I do?

All my designs come with a modest .2mm to .25mm tolerance. This may not work if your printer is un-calibrated or outside of those tolerances. Try calibrating your printer. If that doesn't help, then you can try to scale the pins down in your slicer software, make small changes until you get the perfect size. Good luck.

My printer is well calibrated but I guess the tolerance might be outside it's performance.
I've printed the 100 mm alignment pin with a small change on the x and y axis and it fit perfectly.
So now I'm printing the other 9 again.
Great design :)
will post a picture once I finish printing.

Thanks for posting the Make, it turned out great.

this sword is perfact but can you make a round grip like a elucidator? i want to get round grip
and plus details because i think that it is unbalanced. In fact i tried to make it but i didn't succeed make it. So i need your design. please reply

How many alignment pins do you need to print for this?

You will need 9 of the 60mm and 1 of the 100mm pins.

Yes I am taking about the original Asuna raiper "Lambrent Light"Looking Forword to it!

I am still working on the dark repulser so i need to print it may be 2 weeks later. But this is quite a cool sword. I think you can work on Asuna sword. I am expecting it! Keep up!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. Are you talking about Asuna's "Lambent Light" or her new one for Ordinal Scale?
