I printed a couple of these on my stock Ender 3, and they both came out missing a leg (back right)! Had to double check the STL file and, sure enough, the leg was there. I gave up for a short time, but, later, I replaced the motherboard on my printer and then it printed perfectly. How strange!

Anyway, this is exactly the virus model I was looking for. Maybe it's not accurately realistic, but it looks great and gets the point across perfectly. Thank you!

I've printed this 100% scale, at .06mm layer heights. Prints like a charm every time. I just use glue on my bed.

Great design, leading to a good, clean print. It's fun to watch this one as the leg portions build disconnected at first and then link up.

I should print this for my biology professor. Also, what exactly did you change from the original design?

I redesigned it from scratch with OpenSCAD. I had problems printing 1radboy's design due to rounded feet (which look really cool). I didn't include a neck or collar for aesthetics and to make it more printable. I also made the body and legs slightly low-poly just because I thought it looked better.

Well you did a good job, as far as I can tell.
